Since 1970, Lanier Golf Club has enjoyed a rich and well respected reputation as one of the area's finest golf courses. The club features an 18-hole championship par-72 Joe Lee designed course and a separate practice and driving range facility, clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts. Those who play the classic Joe Lee layout boast of its fast greens and playable layout.
It's located just thirty minutes north of Atlanta just off Georgia 400 and across the road from Lake Lanier, the area's largest recreation lake in Georgia. Lanier boasts some of the finest bent grass putting surfaces in Georgia and has been host to many Georgia Golf Association events such as the Georgia mid-Amateur, Georgia Amateur qualifying, and US Open Qualfying.
